We're looking for speakers who (1) know their type and (2) come from a variety of backgrounds. We're curating our lineup to fill the room with as many different ideas and voices as possible.
Who can apply to speak?
Designers, letterers, typographers, illustrators, graffiti artists, teachers, agency leaders, entrepreneurs - anyone with a good story or lesson to share about type.
How long should my talk be?
We're building our schedule to include a variety of talks. Anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour is fine - we'll work with you to fit your talk in the time slot we think makes the most sense.
What if I’m a first time speaker?
We’re looking for interesting, thoughtful speakers - if you think that’s you, want to hear your idea.
What do speakers get?
Speakers will be paid an honorarium, access to the conference, and an extra ticket to share with a friend or colleague. Speakers will have their websites and social handles linked on our website, email, and social channels.
Travel & Accomodation
We unfortunately cannot cover airfare or hotel stays for speakers. If you need recommendations for travel or hotels, please reach out.
Accessibility
We’re committed to making our conference as accessible as possible. That said, our venue has limited accessibility with a number of stairs to access the building and the bathrooms. Please reach out to us about accessibility accommodations if you have questions.
Can I submit more than one talk?
Yes! We’d love to hear your ideas, and we can work with you to find the best fit.
