Swash & Serif Exhibition is a curated group typography and lettering art show based in Toronto. Since 2014, our curatorial goal is to display type and lettering artwork that uses type to tell stories, is experimental and conceptual, and reflects the diversity of our community and of culture and language itself.
We’re looking for work that uses typography or lettering to communicate an idea, tell a story, or express a feeling in thought-provoking ways. Everybody is welcome to submit, whether you’re a calligrapher, font designer, graphic designer, illustrator, or artist.
Once submissions close we curate and select the best pieces to fill the gallery. Space is limited and we have high standards for the work we showcase, which means you need to bring your A game!
